A Shuttle Bus To Fisherman’s Village
The fisherman’s Village, Jatetaw, is about 5 miles from the hotel. You can reach the village by bicycle, Tuk Tuk or by Taxi ( only 25 minutes’ drive by car ). This is a village where most fishermen live and work and you can watch their activities. Early in the morning from 6 AM to 7 AM, the fishing boats come back from the ocean with full load of catches and this is the best time to go and watch the busy fishermen at work. However, the fishermen will not go out for fishing one day before and after full moon days and no moon days. So please check and ensure to avoid these days.
A Shuttle Bus To Thandwe Town & Pagodas
It is a very ancient town, previously named as Sandoway during British Burma time, and about 4 miles away from the Ngapali Beach. You can reach the town by bicycle, Tuk Tuk or by Taxi ( only 20 minutes’ drive by car ). In Thandwe you can visit hand weaving works of Rakhine longyi, place mats, underliners etc… Also you can visit three very ancient pagodas on hillocks overlooking Thandwe with beautiful panoramic scenes – Nan Daw Pagoda (Sacred Rib Relic Pagoda), San Daw Pagoda (Sacred Hair Relic Pagoda) and Ann Daw Pagoda (Sacred Tooth Relic Pagoda).
18 Holes Golf Course
The 18 holes Ngapali Golf Course is just 10 minutes drive from the resort to fulfill the taste of beach golfers.
For those unable to bring their own clubs, a golf set can easily be rented from the hotel.
